Tesla Greatly Increases Recruiting for the Manufacturing of Cybertruck

With just a few months until the start of Cybertruck production, Tesla has dramatically up its hiring efforts.

As the most significant new electric vehicle to debut this year, the industry is eagerly monitoring the Cybertruck production programme.

With more than 1.5 million reservations and Tesla’s remarkable history of producing electric vehicles in large quantities, it is anticipated to be a game-changer in the emerging but crucial electric pickup truck sector.

We have been closely monitoring the development of the product, with the arrival of Cybertruck-specific production machinery at Gigafactory Texas, the installation of a Cybertruck body there, and, more recently, the discovery of Cybertruck Beta prototypes road testing.

The hiring drive for Cybertruck production at Gigafactory Texas is another effective technique to monitor the status of the production programme.

A number of new job positions related to the development of Cybertruck have recently been listed by Tesla, with the commencement of production only a few months away.

Job Openings:

For instance, Tesla just announced seven new positions for the Cybertruck paint shop:

Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Process Engineer, Equipment Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Supervisor & Production Associate Manager.

While the majority of the Cybertruck is made of stainless steel and won’t require paint like the majority of other vehicles, there are still a few components that require painting.

For the Cybertruck initiative, Tesla has added four new casting and stamping-related positions:

Production Supervisor, Production Associate Manager, Production Supervisor (Stamping) & Production Associate Manager (Stamping).

Several new production manager and supervisor posts for the various Cybertruck production units were also advertised by the automaker:

Production Control Supervisor, Production Control Associate Manager, Production Supervisor (Drive Unit), Production Associate Manager (Battery Pack) & Production Supervisor (Battery Pack).

This increase in staffing comes as Tesla has already acknowledged that the deployment of its Cybertruck production line at the Gigafactory Texas is currently underway.

While Tesla recently stated that it plans to start producing the Cybertruck this summer, significant deliveries shouldn’t be anticipated until 2024, when the carmaker will transition to volume production.
