In IPL 2023, Vida will Partner with the Lucknow Super Giants on Electric Mobility

For the current season of the Indian Premier League, Hero MotoCorp’s electric two-wheeler brand Vida has collaborated with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as its exclusive e – mobility partner, the company said on Monday (IPL). Throughout the entire season, players’ helmets and hats will display the EV manufacturer’s emblem.

The electric vehicle manufacturer hopes to develop itself as a strong EV brand with this alliance while also promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable transportation. “We are excited to work with Lucknow Super Giants, that won everyone over during the past IPL season. The convenience of ownership and use of VIDA is also impressing clients, according to Swadesh Srivastava, Head of Hero MotoCorp’s Emerging Mobility Business Unit (EMBU).

The business is aiming to create an EV infrastructure to make it easier for customers to switch to battery-powered automobiles. For public use, Vida boasts to have already installed up to 300 charging stations at 50 places in the three original cities of New Delhi, Jaipur, and Bengaluru.

Owners of EVs can charge the batteries of their scooters at 1.2 km/min thanks to the company’s rapid charging network. Its charging stations are equipped with both DC and AC charging plugs. Customers can handle their end-to-end EV charging requirements with the use of the company’s smartphone app, “My VIDA.”

They can use it to find the closest charging station, check the availability, schedule a time to charge, and even find their way there.

With the Vida V1, Hero MotoCorp entered the electric two-wheeler market last year. The EV has two detachable batteries and thus is currently offered through an Omni – channel presence in Bangalore, Jaipur, and Delhi.

Ather Energy, a competitor of Vida, made its debut in franchise-based cricket last year by joining forces alongside Gujarat Titans for the IPL’s 2022 season.
