A new premiere in China is scheduled on April 3 according to a new teaser posted online by Tesla. The ad makes it clear that the EV manufacturer will introduce a new “Supercharging” product in a few days, so it’s definitely safe to conclude that this is the eagerly anticipated V4 Supercharger station.
In Harderwijk, Netherlands, the company has already installed some of its chargers. Design-wise, the new V4 Supercharger differs from the previous model. It also uses a longer connection to perform efficiently with cars other than Tesla.
Yet, it appears that perhaps the V4 charger will make its public debut in China first, where there are already over 1,100 Superchargers.
