On the 10th of November, an insistent took place and got captured on camera, reported from the Ulunda block office in Sonepur, Odisha. The Electric two-wheeler completely burnt up. The name of the possessor of the scooter is Rabi Narayan Senapati.
The scooter was parked by the owner in front of the shop and had gone in to make a purchase when the incident occurred. The fact is still untold what the exactly caused scooter’s battery to explode. The e-scooter was completely burned by the time firefighters to the spot.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways imposed a hefty penalty on electric vehicle makers following a show cause notice and an investigation of such EV fires lately. They are now up with draft policies that strike usage and safer conduct in accordance with electric vehicles and their charging.
