Benly e electric scooter, that has been showcased at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show in 2019. The e-scooter has been under making for such a long time. Now reportedly, this electric scooter has been spotted in India that depicts predictions about its hidden launch. The spy shot of the same has been shared by automotive enthusiast Lal Krishna.
The e-scooter is developed specifically for pick-up and delivery services. Benly e acquires a functional design that comprises the flat rear deck. While its dimension stands at 1840mm, 780mm, and 1,050mm in length, width, and height respectively.
Honda Benly e Electric Scooter Spied
Honda Benly e scooter comes in four variants that include Benly e I, Benly e I Pro, Benly e II, and Benly e II Pro. While coming to its tech config then Benly e I and I Pro are offered with a 2.8 kW (3.8 bhp) electric motor. It returns a power output of 13 Nm. While Benly e II and II Pro are propelled by a 4.2 kW (5.7 bhp) electric motor. And it generates 15 Nm of peak torque. Although, both motors are fed energy by two 48V, 20.8 Ah lithium-ion batteries. These batteries are called by Honda ‘Mobile Power Pack’ (MPP). Also, both of these units are detachable and swappable.
Other technical Specs
The range claimed by Honda on its single charge is 30kmph on the flat road for Benly e I and I Pro. On the other hand, the range covered by Benly e II and II Pro is 43km at 60kmph on a flat road on a single charge. Also, the e-scooter can climb an incline of 12 degrees with 30kg cargo for e I and I Pro and 60kg for Benly e II and II Pro respectively. The same has assisted with the reverse feature as well.
It have 12 inch font and 10 inch rear alloy wheels. Whereas, it tips to have weight if 125kg and 130kg for Benly e I and Benly e II respectively. In terms of features, it gets an LED headlight, a digital instrument cluster and also carrying a accessory power socket. It comes with combined braking system (CBS).
