According to the report Tesla Model Y is still selling and there are a number of booking pandan which is the pre-order booking of Tesla Model Y. The craze of Tesla Model Y had not even landed on the head of the people that the Center Group has shown off the pictures of the new Tesla Model Y.
So the whole matter was started on September 3, the IDRA group showed the new Tesla Model Y (Idra Group is a manufacturer of die casting machinery founded in 1946 in Brescia, Italy. The company is notable for producing the largest high-pressure die casting machines in the world.)
The latest image appeared on LinkedIn with the caption “It’s time for a change!”. Giga Press is a series of aluminum die-casting machines manufactured by Idra Group in Italy. They are notable for being the most giant high-pressure die-casting machines in the world, with a clamping force of 55,000 to 61,000 kilonewtons. Each device weighs 410–430 tonnes.
As we all know, Tesla already has several Giga presses that they use to “make full-sized cars similar to toy cars”. Recently Tesla had a glimpse of his casting machines via video. Tesla started using the IDRA company’s Giga Press to make the frames of its Model Y, and this was confirmed by Tesla in 2021.
According to the Tesla news, there is a report where it is clearly mentioned that there are 6000-ton Giga Press needed to bear the weight of the heavy load by the way and now the number of the Giga Press increases in Tesla Model y now becomes 8000-ton.
Not even this the press released the half frame of the new Model Y which is enabling the automaker to make the chassis from only two pieces instead of several. The report also mentions that the Model y is manufactured in the gigafactory of Austin and Berlin. Well, this is quite shocking that the Model Y manufacturing process is now on the shoulders of Austin and Berlin, especially at that time when Elon Musk had full faith in China and was expecting to manufacture the other new features of the Tesla Model Y.
Anyways, IDRA also shares some pictures of Tesla Model Y with the “Giga Press” emblazoned on the side and “IDRA” on the frunk. We don’t know if IDRA bought one or is buying a fleet, however, one Model Y is better than none. We are hoping that Telsa Model Y will also soldout like the same IDRA pointed out that a total of 24 of these monster machines have been sold globally. Till then we can just hope for the best.
Recently, Elon Musk talked about Tesla launching Cybertruck but as of now, Cybertruck has changed since it still needs 6000 Ton Giga Press in Cybertruck. en Tesla Model Y Giga press is used or it may be too big in size. The cabin will be comfortable for 7 people.
