Tesla is looking for hiring the technicians for “Semi Service Program” (Above to delivering Cyber tucks)

There are not much more days when Tesla was announcing the launching date of the Cyber truck. It was in 2019 when Mr. Elon Musk announced to launch of the Cyber Truck but due to some reason, tesla fails to launch the electric truck this time Elon Musk clearly give his words to launch the Cyber truck with 500 miles of range at the end of this year 2022. According to the news, there are already 1 million pre-orders booked by the users to buy the Cyber truck. Not even this there are also so many pre-orders that are not able to book due to the website blockage from the backend of the Tesla.

Anyways Now the point arises that at the end of this year Tesla start selling their trucks and if something is sold so it means it will use and at end of the day the Vehicle needs services also. But Tesla is still not able to open a service center and hires the Techinecians of Electic trucks. But the flying news has come in the ears of the reports that Tesla is starting a “Semi Service Program” in order to service the upcoming Tesla Semi electric truck ahead of the first customer deliveries.

Actually, the fact is that Tesla was looking to hire its first service technicians for Tesla Semi the last year which is called the “Semi Service Program” name given by the automakers of the company. But there are some estimations also that as the program was started by the automakers so it could be possible that the service may be done by the automakers or the automakers will going to service those vehicles.

But whatever is happen there are some requirements listed by the company for the Semi Service Program. It’s very obvious that Tesla is not just a name it’s the largest EV company in the EVs market so focused to getting a job in this company is not an easy task and that is why the company has mentioned a requirement later which is like this.

We are looking for experienced Service Technicians to support the growth of the Semi Service Program.

Then the automaker added that those new technicians will be the “first” to service the Tesla Semi

Our goal is to find experienced technicians looking to take their careers to the next level. They will be supporting product and service development, as well as being the FIRST technicians to provide an in-person service to our new customers.

Even Tesla also shortlisted its main five locations where it needs technicians for the Semi Service Program:

  • Fremont, CA
  • Sacramento, CA
  • Modesto, CA
  • Central Valley, CA
  • Reno, NV

This gives us a good idea of where Tesla first plans to deliver its electric semi-trucks.

Tesla lists the tasks that the technicians are going to be expected to do:

  • Work alongside Engineering and Development teams to provide direct product feedback
  • Be part of the first Semi Service technicians in the field
  • Support the Tesla Semi Fleet that will move Tesla cargo between our own factories
  • Support our first customers and repair their fleet as needed
  • Travel to customers and work alongside their technicians in their workshops
  • Create/maintain repair instructions to be used by anyone servicing a Tesla Semi
  • Set the standard and provide feedback on tooling and utilization
  • Support Tesla Service Centers, as needed

Everything points to deliveries of the Tesla Semi starting soon. Tesla is also hiring for its Semi production program in Nevada as it ramps up production of the electric trucks.

Well, it will be very interesting to see what exactly that effect gonna fix on the owners after experiencing the first driving of a Cyber truck. I think Tesla should think about the results of the driving experience of the Tesla cyber truck owners instand of the service part.
