The demand for electric vehicles now increasing day by day and according to my opinion, Tesla plays an important role in this field. So, Tesla became a huge hub in the EV market nowadays. That is the reason Tesla CEO Elon Musk has become so confident about his statements. Now without wasting any time let me clear all the matters that exactly Mr. CEO has stated this time. So, the whole incident took place during a meeting on Q2 results. In that meeting, Mr. CEO claimed that his company is in the largest market in the world, especially in the country of China. At that event, Musk appreciate the Chinese technology which was collaborated with his company manufacturing production. Even he also intell that Tesla is the best main market of Ev in China.
Now let me zoom in on the statement which was now so on fire that why Mr. CEO said this thing. Actually, China is one of the biggest markets for tesla in the world, not even this, China is one of the most profitable countries in the world for Tesla. And this is the same thing during the meeting Musk said that China is a smart and hardworking country and if anyone tries to compete with them so maybe they can suffer a decline. Not even this they had also the best Chinese EV manufacturer right now.
China had set up its first Gigafactory outside the United States in Shanghai. If we talking about the previous production of china factory, so the company was stopped working due to covid-19 related lockdowns. Tesla lost about 40,000 units worth three weeks of production between March and April due to the lockdown. But now the situation is quite ok so they have to manage or maintain their fraction of production. Tesla had its workers sleeping on-site or nearby to keep the facility running at bare strength. According to a report, Shanghai Gigafactory possibly deliver an overall 44,000 cars in the upcoming months of April and May. That was an estimation but when the lockdown was increased whole production was stopped and the workers were on banning mode from their work.
Now lockdown in Shanghai has recently ended last month. They had so many productions of cars left but the staff go on fire and complete their left production of Tesla within a single month. It saw EV shipments from Tesla’s factory shoot up to a record of 78,906 units. After impressing by the work of China now Tesla had also upgraded its production in Shanghai. Not even Tesla also provides extra facilities in order to make up for the lost time due to the lockdown.
The main aim of the production line is to finish up the rather production and overall produce 7.50 Lakh electric cars every year for the China facility, up from 4.50 lakh units earlier. As we already mentioned in our previous article that the main aim of Tesla is to produce 1.5 million Vehicles this year globally. So it will be very interesting for us to see that is Tesla will be able to fulfill its goal and the country name China which was appreciated by CEO Musk will also make them satisfied with his product manufacturing work.
Anyways apart from this Tesla is not so far away from its own appreciation. The company said that they have delivers 2.56 Lakh Vehicles worldwide in the previous quarter. Well if we compare this count with the previous years so we must say that the account is actually very high maybe 27 % but down then the first quarter which was a record 3.10 lakh units. Unfortunately, this was the first time when the company is failed to reach its target and increase the deliveries of the vehicle from one quarter to the next.
In short, Tesla is becoming very confident about its performance and but according to me, this confidence became quite overconfidence for the company. Basically, Mr. CEO played a little politics with China and put their whole target on the shoulders of China after appreciating the conference meeting. Because in the month of April Mr. CEO was probably claims that they can predict about the production count of the vehicles which will be 1.5 million during this year. From then until now Tesla had made about 564,000 through the first half.
In the end, we can just say good luck to Mr. CEO and China also because after ignoring the whole manufacturing EVs companies in the world Tesla gives so many big statements, he probably chooses China as the target. Now it will be interesting to see what happens next. We can just hope for the best. Because at the end of the day both are very powerful and well developed. If they succeed then it will be a huge success for the technology. So just hoping for the best.
